ICBrainDB
Annotation
In recent decades there has been a significant increase in the number of studies aimed at looking for genetic
factors associated with human psychophysiological traits.
The database icbraindb.cytogen.ru was created to combine and systematize:
- psychological (questionnaires, experimental protocols)
- psychophysiological (EEG)
- genetic data (information about SNPs in target genes)
- methods of their analysis
The database will help to expand the number of samples for testing hypotheses
(for example, on the relationship of genetic markers with a predisposition to depression, anxiety or aggression),
as well as to get acquainted with the methods of processing the corresponding data for the research of the
relationship between
genetics and the psychophysiology of human behavior.
Psychophysiological and psychological data were collected and prepared by the Laboratory of Differential
Psychophysiology of NIIPFM,
genetic data were sequenced by the Genomic Research Sector of the ICG SB RAS and prepared by the Sector of
Bioinformatics
and Information Technologies in Genetics of the ICG SB RAS.
Access to data
ICBrainDB has a graphical data access interface:
icbraindb.cytogen.ru/gui
ICBrainDB also has a programming interface for direct access to data using REST API technology
with responses in the form of JSON files at the link:
icbraindb.cytogen.ru/api-v2
ICBrainDB allows you to download files related to EEG (Electroencephalogram) studies. The list of files
available for download is available at the following link, or through the user interface in the corresponding
sections of the description of the properties of database objects:

The genes, the sequencing data of which are stored in our database, were obtained by reconstructing and
analyzing the gene networks of human neurotransmitter networks. The process and results of the analysis of
gene networks are described in the article:

Contentious Manifestation for Anxiety, Depression, and Intellectual Disabilities"
